The purpose of this work was to analyze the dynamics of changes on the electoral map of Russia. Using data for four electoral cycles (2007-2021) for the five largest political parties (United Russia, KPRF, LDPR, SRPP and Yabloko), the author applied the method of local spatial autocorrelation indicators (LISA) in order to obtain statistically significant clusters of high values of electoral support. During the study, it was found that the patterns of spatial differentiation of support were extremely heterogeneous: from an almost complete absence of changes to a radical change in support zones. For example, for United Russia, it was found that the electoral structure has hardly changed in four cycles, while the electoral core of the Communist Party has moved to the Asian part. And for such parties as Yabloko, it was shown that, despite the presence of certain regions with maximum electoral support, nevertheless, today it is impossible to talk about the presence of stable areas of electoral support, although the formation of electoral cores is noted. For other parties, there is a weak pattern of changes from one electoral cycle to another. At the end of the article, the main conclusions are presented on how the dynamics of the electoral structure of Russia as a whole has changed, as well as for each of the five analyzed parties. The results of this article can be used by election specialists both for the purpose of further forecasting for future elections, and by political strategists to identify subjects with the most preferred electorate for further campaigning.
